Whether you are interested in a consultation for a cosmetic or reconstructive procedure, we will thoroughly discuss and explain all of the options available to you. Also, many patients have concerns about their appearance that may not clearly fall into either the cosmetic or reconstructive category. If this is the case, we will do everything that is possible and ethical to obtain coverage for your procedure.

Depending on the length and complexity of surgery that might be necessary, we can perform your procedure in our office-based procedure room, the main hospital or one of several out-patient facilities.

For a cosmetic consultation, you will be asked over the phone for a credit card at the time you make your appointment. You will be charged $75 for a consultation if you do not show up for your appointment or if you do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. However, when you do arrive for your appointment, your credit card number will be deleted from our records.

In the event that you need a procedure that is not clearly reconstructive or we are unsure if the insurance company will ultimately reimburse for the procedure (even if they give pre-authorization, this does not guarantee payment), you may be asked for a deposit. After the procedure, if your insurance company does reimburse for your procedure, we will refund your deposit minus any copays. If your insurance company does not reimburse for your procedure, you will be responsible for the balance of services rendered.
